A Guide To Finding Dresses To Suit Your Body Shape
There are SO many styles of dresses to choose from that it can be difficult to know what would best flatter your body shape, so here are a few tips to help you choose your dress with confidence!
HOURGLASS FIGURE
Typically curvy hips and bust with a small waist.
This body shape can wear most style dresses.
Emphasizing your waist, and dresses that skim over the hip and thigh area look amazing on the hour glass figure.
PEAR SHAPE
Normally has narrow shoulders, wide hips, bottom and thighs.
Dresses that skim over the bottom half look very flattering, and to show off your shoulders a strapless dress can look beautiful. Accessorize perhaps with a necklace, or chandelier earrings to keep people eyes looking to your upper body.
APPLE SHAPE
Normally has a larger bust and stomach and thinner legs.
Dresses with a fuller skirt look fabulous and to accentuate the bust a v line or sweetheart neckline, add to this perhaps a drop necklace to complete the glamour.
If you want to show off your legs then a shorter dress would look stunning too.
ATHLETIC
Normally has a figure with few curves, a straight physique.
Athletic figures can wear slim line and fuller styles. If you’d like to create curves then a corset and full skirt create them, and v necks give the illusion of curves on the bust.
