Beauty And Makeup Advice For Your Special Day.

Your special day is drawing nearer... now is the time to start working on your skin so that it is in prime condition for your wedding day.
It is recommended to drink 2 litres of water a day this will also help to flush out any toxins in the body and hydrate your skin. It takes approximately 2 months for your basal skin cells to reach the surface, so start your skin care regime 2 months prior to your wedding day for optimum results.
Your skin care regime should consist of cleanse, tone and moisturise morning and night. Exfoliation and mask one to two times per week. Pop along to your local beauty salon for a facial and some advice on the best products to use for your skin type. Professional products don't always have to be expensive!!! We know your probably already on a strict budget so saving as much as you can is important. I recommend and use in my own salon Eve Taylor products they are both very affordable for my clients and they work!!!
Using the purest of natural ingredients and aromatherapy oils they not only smell great but they really help to prime your skin ready for your wedding day makeup. After all your makeup is best applied on a well looked after skin!
Now moving onto wedding makeup, some of you may have some horror stories to tell when it comes to having your makeup done, but this doesnt have to be the case. Here is some advice to help you find a wedding makeup artist that is right for you!
Always check to see if the makeup artist has a portfolio, it is also very helpful if the pictures are of real people and not just models so you can see the transformation without the use of airbrush and photography techniques. Simple before and after shots can help you see the skills of the makeup artist. Ask about the products the makeup artist uses and have a trial. Never feel like you cant speak up if there is something you don't like. I always make sure I ask my clients if they are 100% happy with their trial makeup and do they want any changes made. An in-depth consultation prior to the wedding makeup really helps so you can discuss your final look and gain an idea of what you like. It is really helpful if you take along pictures of the type of makeup you like the look of too. Ask if you can visit the makeup artist for a consultation to view their work, meet them and have a chat about what you like.
So there we have it you can look beautiful on your wedding day and with a little research the right products and makeup artist you will see it really does make a difference to your confidence and its great fun, if you cant be pampered now when can you?
