How To Achieve Radiant Skin
TIPS FOR RADIANT SKIN
Even though getting married can be one of the happiest events in your life, it can also be very stressful!
The months leading up to a wedding can be an anxious as well as exciting time, so really it's no wonder that your skin can be a real problem, just when you want it to look radiant and glowing for your special day.
You may find that any skin issues that you already have will get worse, mostly due to stress. It's a time when so much is happening in your life.
Try to have a skin care regime in place ideally about 6 months before the big day, if this isn't possible then as soon as possible. Bare in mind that it can take up to 3 months for the skin to get used to using new products, especially with products like cleansers, and face masks because they draw out the impurities that are beneath the skin.
Use a face mask once a week to thoroughly cleanse the skin, cleanse and tone morning and night, (or facial wash if you prefer), use a moisturiser with an SPF in the day, to protect the skin against environmental damage, pollution etc. Then before going to bed use a night cream to nourish the skin. Your skin heals itself when you are asleep, so a richer cream is perfect at night. Try to apply it about 10 minutes before putting your head on the pillow, because otherwise you have a well moisturised pillow case!
I would also strongly suggest that you use an eye cream day and night too. An eye gel is great for the day because it cools and de puffs the eye area, and a cream at night soothes and nourishes the eye area. Just use a grain of rice amount on your ring finger (because you don't apply so much pressure and drag the delicate skin and create more lines!) Then just pat around the eye starting from the outer corner of the eye and apply around the bone area of the eye. It should be applied here as the product will naturally move to where it's needed. If you apply it on the eye lid that will make the eyes puffier!
Twice a week gently exfoliate the skin, this is a brilliant thing to do, because an exfoliator removes dead skin cells, so firstly your skin looks more radiant straight away but also any products that you apply will be absorbed in the skin much more easily because the dead cells have gone,
Also, a lot of people forget there bodies, so use a body scrub at least once a week, and use a body lotion day and night, ideally apply lotion when you are just out of a bath or shower, because your skin is warmer so the product absorbs in to the skin much more quickly and effectively.
These tips should help you achieve photo ready, radiant skin.
