3) DO take up the help of an English speaking wedding planner to ensure you work with reliable and professional suppliers and all legalities are present and correct.
4) DO take advice with regards to the time of year, the day and time of your wedding due to Italian holidays, the weather, town hall opening times and legal requirements.
5) DO choose your venue wisely; a few things to consider include the distance between your ceremony and guest accommodation, the maximum capacity, does it have overnight accommodation, does it allow for an indoor option in case of bad weather, are there any hidden extra charges?

And ALWAYS set yourself a budget and stick to it.
