Avington Park is a privately owned stately home with a lovely entrance along the lime tree avenue to the magnificent frontage of the Palladian mansion. The house is set in its own parkland, bordering the River Itchen with magnificent views. There are beautifully painted rooms overlooking the south lawns, adjoining a unique pair of conservatories, with the ballroom upstairs with magnificent gold plasterwork ceiling and painted panels - yet Avington retains the atmosphere and warmth of a family home. Only exclusive use is offered and the house is open for guests to enjoy the magnificent rooms as well wondering across the lawns to the river in summer and to appreciate the log fires in the winter.
Five of the stunning state different rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies, the bride can change here beforehand and with a wonderfully appointed bridal apartment, may stay here following the reception. We can organise all the professionals that you need to make you day truly memorable and have a choice of excellent caterers, who will provide great service and fantastic food.
