A unique collaboration of two of the UK's finest oboists, the versatile Gabriel's Oboes are available to play at church weddings, civil ceremonies and partnerships, as well as at celebrations and corporate events.

Based in the North of England, our unique sound is particularly suitable for ceremonies, but we can also provide music for receptions and functions. With music spanning more than 400 years, from Bach to Bacharach, our broad repertoire can help to give your special occasion a magical touch.
Gabriel's Oboes are Anna Cooper and Julia Wilson, two of the UK's leading oboists. Following prestigious jobs with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra respectively, Anna and Julia now have busy freelance careers working with many of the UK's top orchestras. The idea for Gabriel's Oboes developed from their highly successful partnership as the oboe section of the Mozart Festival Orchestra, which plays regularly around the UK and abroad during the Autumn and Christmas season each year. Julia and Anna felt they wished to continue their collaboration all year round, and so Gabriel's Oboes was born.
