Llangoed Hall is set in seventeen acres of garden and parkland in the valley of the River Wye. By the early 1970s, Llangoed Hall was in danger of demolition and was saved only because of its historical and architectural importance. In 1987, Sir Bernard Ashley bought the property and restored the house to its former glory.

Since opening as a luxury Country House Hotel in June 1990, Llangoed Hall has achieved many accolades and tributes, and is now one of the finest hotels in Wales.

The Chef, Sean Ballington, has flair and imagination and uses only the finest local produce to create outstanding dishes. This is matched with an extensive wine list.

Llangoed Hall is a dream retreat destination, the epitome of class, tradition and country comfort. It has two delightful rooms, which are licensed to hold wedding ceremonies and can cater for up to 200 guests with a marquee.
Llangoed Hall is the perfect venue for Weddings, with the outstanding Black Mountains being a perfect setting for photographs.
