Hi girls!

My name is Stormy, I'm an American girl that recently fell in love with a British boy and a fancy-schmancy camera.

If you're reading this, odds are you're looking for a wedding photographer, or maybe someone close to you is. (Or, you're just wishing you had a reason to be looking for a wedding photographer, and trust me, I've been there!)

There are many, many talented photographers to wade through, so I won't bore you with the same "classic, timeless portraiture - we care about your day" sales copy. Let me just cut straight to the chase and tell you why my clients hire me...

Because I care.

I love my brides, simple as that. When a bride asks me to tell the story of the most important day of her life, that isn't just business - it's personal . I've only recently married myself, and I know that our wedding day meant everything to my husband and me. I know how much it meant to the people who love us too. What I can promise you is that I will photograph your wedding as if it were my own. I'll get to know you, I'll learn your love story, I'll ask your future mum-in-law to leave the dressing room if she's driving you crazy (I'm a professional and can invent professional excuses - you say anything and you're toast). Without fail, we'll be friends by the time your ceremony comes around, and then I'll tear up a little when you say "I do"- you think I'm kidding, but I'm not. I LOVE my brides.

Because I'm different.

My style is influenced by fashion. I started out as a fashion and editorial photographer, and I still do assignments for various magazines. I have a fabulous network of hairstylists and makeup artists, and I'm not shy about using them for my brides. I know all the tricks models and stylists use to look taller, slimmer, and younger. I Photoshop, which means I can guarantee you will never have a pimple in one of my images. Ultimately, I've spent ages helping awkward new models learn how to feel comfortable and look great in front of a camera, and trust me darlin', if I can do it with them I can definitely do it with you!

I love photographing a bride, or a bride and groom together, before the wedding. I treat these shoots just like I would a fashion shoot, and the results are always amazing - it's one of the biggest reasons brides hire me. Dress or no dress, groom or not, my goal is to make sure you look like you just stepped off the page of a magazine, as well as help you feel comfortable with me and in front of the camera before the big day.

In the end, this is the only good reason to hire a photographer. The way I shoot is the way I see the world, and it's the way I'll tell your love story. I'm happy to make shot lists with you until the sun goes down, but the dynamic works best when my clients hire me because they trust my vision.
